The Higher Education Association (HEA) is the student organization for the Higher Education Administration Master’s and Doctoral program at NC State University. Our purpose is to enrich the development of the student body by facilitating connections between the students, departmental faculty, staff, the NC State community, and surrounding institutions. We are dedicated to enhancing the experiences of our students while they are in our program and beyond through assessment and support of students’ needs and beneficial communication.
Students in HEA will have the opportunity to participate in meaningful professional development opportunities and leadership roles, as well as engage with other members in social events and community service. HEA is an active organization which provides many ways for students to build community during their graduate school career including monthly dinners, football tailgates, and service projects…just to name a few! We are excited to connect with future colleagues and make them feel at home here at NC State! Go Wolfpack!
